By performing a wide variety of movements in a variety of intensities, Fitness athletes develop a broad “functional fitness” that translates to increased performance in a wide variety of tasks, from nurses lifting patients, to elite sports to military service to simply being able to lift heavy objects safely around the house. Fitness can benefit people of all ages and fitness levels because the program is universally scalable. Scaling might involve modifying a movement or changing the amount of weight or the number of repetitions to target each individual athlete’s current ability level. The trainers at Complete get to know their clients’ abilities and are committed to making sure each athlete tailors each workout to his or her individual need, whether that means going heavier or lighter, longer or shorter. “Scaling” does not mean taking it easy. It means working hard with the body you’ve got today and knowing that it will be stronger tomorrow.
Whether you are someone who just isn’t ready for group classes or maybe just prefers to be in a one on one environment to someone who is looking to move towards a specific goal, we have several options. Many of our members choose to work with our trainers to improve special skills, gymnastics, weightlifting technique or running. We’ve got a lot of knowledge on staff, pick our brains and let us design a program for you.
Mobility is one of the most important parts of maintaining a healthy body. This class we will be combining yoga and strength training, into one exciting class. The goal of this class will be to create long, strong, lean and flexible muscles. The exercises will be based on improving function, balance (between muscle groups) and structure.
Complete Body Bootcamp keeps you motivated and working hard. Our certified coaches craft a challenging workout each day that builds off the fundamental/functional movements of life: squatting, pressing, hinging, etc., without the extra stress of using a barbell. All done in a group setting that encourages and pushes you to new levels! A great introduction to the world of fitness.
Our Kids classes are designed to be both fun and functional for any child, at any level. Just like fitness for the adults, the skills covered in Complete Kids classes are broad and incorporate all physical movements including running, pushing, pulling, jumping, climbing, lifting, etc. These skills will translate into their everyday life; whether it be playing at recess with their friends, helping around the house or playing on a competitive sports team. The classes are designed to create well-rounded and confident children and most importantly, designed to stress the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
